AnEndlessOcean – Profile

Ayobami Emmanuel Alli-Hakeem, professionally known as AnEndlessOcean, is a Nigerian gospel-fusion singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose music combines Christian spirituality with elements of contemporary African and alternative music.

AnEndlessOcean began developing his musical abilities at a young age. He picked up his first guitar in 2011 and began writing songs. He recorded his first professionally produced song in February 2016, although he did not begin releasing music consistently until later.

He emerged more prominently around 2020, during the COVID-19 period, and released his debut EP, Apeirogon, on 9 July 2021.

A distinctive feature of his catalogue is the use of geometric titles. His recorded projects include Apeirogon (2021), Decagon (2023) and Octagon (2024), with further work following that sequence.

AnEndlessOcean studied Engineering at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Nigeria. He has also developed his career as a music producer.

His music does not fit neatly into one conventional gospel style. Instead, he combines soul, alternative sounds, African influences and Christian themes. His songwriting frequently explores faith, identity, human emotions and the relationship between the individual and God.

In 2024, he received two Headies nominations, in the categories of Best Inspirational Single and Best Vocal Performance.

His music and creative approach have helped establish him as one of the younger Nigerian artists expanding the boundaries of contemporary gospel and Christian music.
